I don't really sell houses. I help you invest in one properly.
And part of my job is telling you when not to.
I came at this from the other side.
Before I ever sold a single property, I spent years in investment education. Long before I held a property licence, I was teaching ordinary Singaporeans how investing actually works, and just as often, how to spot the schemes quietly designed to take their money.
That's where this comes from. The same conviction that made me warn people off "too good to be true" is the one that makes me a disciplined guide now, not a hype-man.
Most agents earn when you buy, or when you sell. So guess what they'll always nudge you toward. I'd rather bring an investor's due diligence, and the honesty to say no.
I'll tell you to stay put. Even if it costs me the deal.
A property is an investment. Plain and simple. So I look at yours the way I'd look at a stock. The entry price against the market. How easily you'll sell it later. The layout. Whether the place you're in right now is quietly growing or quietly shrinking.
And if the numbers don't stack up, I'll tell you to stay where you are. I've done exactly that before, and it cost me the deal, and I'd do it again tomorrow.
I'd rather earn your trust for your next three moves than rush you into one bad one.
I'm not interested in standing on a podium telling you how great I am. I'd rather sit beside you, look at the real numbers on your actual flat, and work out the smart move together. Sometimes that's a move. Sometimes it's staying exactly where you are for another three years, and letting the thing you already own do the work.
Start with a conversation, not a commitment.
Tell me where you are now, and where you'd like to get to. If moving actually gets you there, I'll show you exactly how. If it doesn't, I'll tell you straight, and you'll have lost nothing but an hour.
And yes … coffee's on me ;)
